The Billion Satoshi Homepage is a digital homage to the iconic Million Dollar Homepage, reimagined for the Bitcoin era. Instead of pixels sold for dollars, we're selling pixels for satoshis which are the smallest unit of Bitcoin.
I believe in creating a space where Bitcoin natives and digital-first thinkers can literally buy a permanent place in internet history, whether you're promoting a project, leaving a mark, or just participating in a fun experiment. I want this project to be an on-ramp to put Bitcoin on the map for non-crypto folk. To teach them about Bitcoin denominations and the immutability of Bitcoin.
Our grid consists of 1,000,000 pixels arranged in a 1000×1000 square. Each pixel costs 1,000 satoshis (a satoshi is the smallest unit of Bitcoin). If every pixel in the grid is purchased, the total value of the grid would be 1,000,000,000 satoshis, which equals 10 Bitcoin. The minimum purchase size is 10×10 pixels (100,000 satoshis).
